Pause in BGM after it repeats

I've been trying to get this Mp3 to loop correctly.
Once it plays through, there is a noticeable pause before it starts to play from the beginning.
I'm not sure what can be done to the file to correct for this problem, or if I have to modify some script instead.

Does it perhaps have the 2+ seconds delay of silence that some mp3's have at the end of the song? That could be an issue. I had the same problem and I just had to edit the track to cut it off.

probably the file especially if its not made for videogames use. don't have this problem when using good looping mp3s

think you can set it to loop at different point in the file itself with an editor. or thats oggs. check rm help file for audio and it'll say

I've been editing this one in Audacity to try and remove any silent periods at the beginning and end.
I used Sony Acid Pro 6 to make this file, and it loops in the program.
Why it doesn't loop outside of it, I don't know.
I can render it as .ogg, .wma. .mp3, .wav, and several other uncommon formats, so I'm not sure which one is the best for looping.

make a copy of the file and try it in various formats and see if that helps. Not sure how long or how drastic the conversion is so Id start with the same format as the rest of the original rmxp music and go from there.
