Passage Bug?

Hey, I just switched over to rmxp from rm2k, and I was making progress on a game, but I can't figure something out.

The passage thing on my tilesets isn't working right. Only tiles I place on the 3rd layer actually block the hero from moving.  When I place the same tile on the 1st or 2nd layers the hero moves over it.  Everything's set right, and I started a new map to test what was wrong, but I don't see what the problem is. I'm pretty sure it was working right before... is it a bug?

mm I'm not sure what I should take a screenshot of...

basically let's say i have a brick wall tile, and I have the passage set to X and no priority. When I put the brick wall tile on the 3rd layer, it blocks the hero fine, but when I put it on the 1st or 2nd layer, the hero just passes through it.

So I can make my maps work only by putting blocked tiles on the 3rd layer, which sucks because I can place a building, but since its the top layer, i have to use events to put windows, doors, etc. on top of the 3rd layer.

I'be tried messing with priorities and the passage(4 dir) is set fine too...

AHA, my windows and stuff were all blocked,  but my invisible tile was what was causing the problem. But still, does this mean I need one passable invisible tile and one blocked invisible tile? That's gonna be a pain to manage.

Only use the first (upper-left) tile in your tileset (same row as autotiles) to erase with. This tile gets ignored when setting passability. If you use any other blank tile to erase with, it's passability gets applied.

I learned this the hard way, when I wasn't registered in any forum :< What I did was use the bucket tool on each layer where it should be invisible, and it would basically highlight anything that's not the original upper-left blank tile.

Thanks for the help, that wasnt exactly the problem either but while I was messing with the blank tiles, I put the blank tile priority to 5 and it all worked! doh.
