Party Members

I just made an event in which a member joins my party, however he will still remain on the map, i've tried to make him jump off screen, change his opacity to 0 and nothing works, do any of u lot kno how to just erase the character of the screen, but keep him in your party?

A character disappearing from screen and joining the party is two entirely separate things as far as the RPG Maker is concerned.

Anyway, when the party member joins and is supposed to disappear from screen, Turn on one of the self switches of the event you want to disappear. Then create a new page having a blank sprite and give that page the condition that the self switch is on.
