Okay, here I go....
When you press A on the keyboard, that is your primary attack.
When you press S on the keyboard, that is your secondary attack.
When you press D on the keyboard, that opens up the skill menu.
When you press F on the keyboard, that opens up the item menu.
So for Mario/Luigi, their primary attacks would be hammer and jump
When 2 characters use skills that work with each other, that initiates a "Dual Skill," which is a more powerful skill which takes up MP of both characters.
Instead of walking around on a map, you walk side to side and down and up, and jump etc. like Paper Mario.
Some attacks don't work on some enemies. For example, a jump attack doesn't work on a spike shell koopa.
Bosses don't stand still.
You actually walk up to people and attack them, ala Paper Mario.
When someone uses an attack, if they press A as the attack hits the opponet, they get another shot, but only 2.
---------
For anyone who has played paper mario, tell me if I'm missing anything.
