Outreach - Web Browser

When i learned what program Pirate used to make scrive, I decided to learn the program myslef. He has helped me a lot os i put him as a co-programmer in the credits. Anyways, as my first project ever I decided to make a Internet Browser. Its a basic idea and so far still has some things i would like to change but its the beta version... so here it is:

If you would like to see certain features in this program, please reply with what you would want! I dont expect people to ever use this but its a good program for me to do so I can learn VB better!

I will be releasing the beta v1.0 for release tonight (saturday evening). It is being released here, envizion, RMF, and RMXP Unlimited.

I'm impressed. Web Browsers are huge programs, and even though this is done using VB, it's still impressive as a first program. Good job!

Thanks! i hope to get a couple of version out of this and then i will make something cooler... but this is a great way to elarn! you cant just learn VB by reading... you have do apply what youve learned... programming is a hands on thing...

Nice, it effectivly uses the IE web engine within the webbrowser component right? or have you re-written the browsing engine, if so hats off thats a massive job for a team of professional coders...

No way he rewrote the entire webbrowser component.  That's just not feasible for someone new to programming.

the progress on this program was stopped for a while and then i lost all progress on this program so i have to re-do everything... shouldnt be too ahrd as i know more know and will be faster... while im doing it, im gonna give it a slightly 'better' look with a tad more professionialism...

Add a combo box to your form.

ComboBox1.Items.Add (TextBox1.text)


Replace the ComboBox with the name of your combo box.

Replace the TextBox with the name of the associated website text.


Theres your favourites.


BTW there may be some mistakes.
