ORAm Presents: Sounds of Scenery

Certainly a superb collection. My game will benefit nicely from them; I especially liked your desert tunes; theres a general lack of them. (I was using joint Jungle/desert themes beforehand). Keep it up!

Great songs here, battle03, cave02, scene01 are my faves & scene02 is my absoulte fave, perfect for a ninja/spy town/camp Im doing. Thanks for the album & keep more coming. Going to DL the other albums u have linked now & proper credit will def. be given where its due.

Can I request this album in ogg format? They're lovely, but mp3s don't loop well in RMXP. Plus I think oggs are smaller.

Sorry for necroposting, if this is indeed a necro, but this seems like a better option than PMing each of the individuals involved since I think this would be useful to everyone, not just me.

Sounds great!
I like the cave ones, they sound awesome!
I did not even know that the ORAm was even active...
The ORAg one isnt very active, I mean I cant even join because there is like no one there!

@Kraft
Thanks Kraft. I take it you missed this on its initial release?

@Chaos
Everything was made with FL Studio. Most songs used the Edirol VSTi plugin.

i love them and i will definately use them.
some of them seem to fit perfect into my upcoming scifi project.
you did a great job and really impressed me.
sounds much better than writing midi and export it with realistic sound engine as i do.
you're talented, definately and it's great that you share it with us.

I hope you don't hate me for giving some constructive criticism... but I feel like there aren't really any calm or quiet songs. They all are either ominous or evil-sounding. There's nothing I can find that's happy or calm sounding.
I certainly do appreciate this contributions, as we all do. But I think it would be nice to have a little variety in the songs. I dunno. I'm not an expert. But that's my opinion.

Town 01 is more light hearted.
Really, based around the themes we just felt not many of the were meant to be too happy or light hearted. Most were meant to make a serious mood. Perhaps in future release will aim more in that direction.

Was their anything you wanted in particular? I might be up for the task of making it.

That would be cool, if your next release had that kind of thing... but you know, for the serious mood, those songs work really well.
And heh, well, as long as you're asking, I was looking for two songs.
The first one is a Hindu type of thing with a sitar and similar instruments, for a desert town. It would be positive and kind of obvious, maybe similar to the Gerudo theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but not with an acoustic guitar, instead with some Arabian-sounding instruments.
And for the second one, I was looking for a bold, yet happy and upbeat theme to a port town, maybe like some kind of song with flutes and snare drums- like colonial-era U.S. music.
It would be much appreciated, but don't worry about it if you don't want to. I just felt I should take advantage of your offer because of your talent in composing. XD

Well you've hit me in direct weak spots. Not only I'm I bad at town themes, but I'm bad at desert type themes as well. I'll see if Capt. Jack is up to the task.

If it was not released within the last week, then yes, I did :*)
Sounds great though, I downloaded the whole thing, and have already found several uses for them... Again, great job!
