What a great contribution! Will you only be releasing them in mp3 formats?

Sadly, I only compose Mp3. Lene and Paradox are capable of doing MIDI. I'm not sure about Captain Jack. I don't know if this particular album will see MIDI format, but in the future MIDI might be possibility.

Awesome Bro

I think more appreciation should be shown here guys! Come on now, these artists have compiled a very nice album together free of use! Look how many games have been released to the forums using only the RTP-standard music and still given the player a nice tune. This opens a whole new breed of scenery for the player to enroll in.

I for one am impressed guys! Not just for the quality of the music, but even more so the organisation that comes with it. Planning an online contribution is one thing, actually doing so is another story.

Good work!

To be honest this is by far one of the best resources posted on here.
Just hearing it made me think of new scenarios for certain points in my game.

10/10

Well I'd love to see these come out frequently! Captain Jack seems to have the dungeon type tunes done very nicely and I really like J-Streets battle song. They are all pretty good though.

They sound great! I'm very impressed! :thumb:

I haven't listened to all of them yet, but I did like what I've heard so far. I liked the Scene and Forest themes a lot, so I included my thoughts on them below.

Forest 1: I the synth surprised me, but it was well used. The drums and piano were a nice touch.
Forest 2: I liked the woodwinds a lot. Sounded somewhat tense. Perfect for a dark forest.
Scene 1: Orchestral! Very nice, but I wish it had more variation.
Scene 2: I liked the choir and the overall sound. It's perfect for a tense scene. I think it would fit better in a Sci-fi game than a Medieval one.

Those are just the ones I especially liked. I may post a bit about the others later. Keep up the good work! I'm glad to see some music being released for public use. The ORA certainly has a lot of musical talent. ;)

As Alastyr commented on Scene 2, I particularly thought this would work well as a dungeon. Imagine like a clock tower in FF7, I really think it's spot on for an area like that.

This is amazing music! You're all very talented and it's very cool and generous of you all to share your talent with us like this. Great job on putting this together the way you have. Scene01 is a particular favorite of mine, and Scene02 is so unique, something really really cool about it. Great job!

@Stevo
I agree with you. The hardest part about getting online team projects done is a lack of communication. With this version of the album you might have noticed it's majority Jack and me. We pretty much know each others daily schedule and communicate quite often, where as it's a bit more difficult to get in contact with Lene and Paradox.

The actual concept of SoS started with myself and Jack, and we expanded the option to par-take in the project out to the rest of ORAm. Although, we only got features on the actual album from Paradox, everyone has gotten a bit better at what they do, and we've all learned a bit since the beginning, so overall it's beneficial.

@Alastyr
Thank you. The ORAm has had it's up and downs with our members, but ironing out our wrinkles has proved to be all worth it.

@Sephy
I can't wait until ORA as a whole actually gets something off the ground. I would love to work with you, like back in the good ol' GPP days ;)

@Bry
Thanks! We've all done our own individual submission, but we figured hitting you guys with one big slab of music would be more effective.

These were very great, if someone hasn't downloaded them and listened to them, they really should! These two worked hard on them, you should at least listen to them and tell them what you think!

Beautiful work. ^^ If I had better knowledge of music creation, I would have something more productive to say, but unfortunately I don't, so all I can really say is great job. All the tracks are wonderful, and I'm looking forward to using as many as I can.

Congrats, J, Noc, Dox, and Lene! You should all be very proud of this. Good luck with your future projects. Can't wait for more. =)

This is superb work, I really enjoy the Scene2 the dramatic feel, it sent chills down my spine.. I wish I could make music, but visual art is my best place of action, awesome job everyone!

Can't say anything new to you guys, you already know that it's good music you got there, and it's also a nice idea to work something like that out in a team... they seem to fit to RTP like a charm IMO, unfortunately that's the reason why I won't be able to use them in my game... Well, I hope we'll see many future projects, may it be ORA or other team submissions, in the future... (sadly, the possibilities to do something like this are restricted for the scripting ORAs... ^_^ )

Keep up the good work!
