I thought I might throw this out there, since I've been hinting at it as it is. The villa where my character was holed up had apparently been converted into some kind of fortress of solitude or something. Apparently the owners had gotten wind that something was up, and, under the guise of "renovations", had made several changes to the place. The first story has windows, but they are out of reach, as they are along the ceiling. They also had a goodly supply of anything and everything needed to survive for a while, including necessaries in the event of disaster, such as the fire extinguishers. They did not acquire much in the way of weapons, however, since that would have aroused far too much suspicion in the middle of a war.
Thia puzzles my character because he thought that they would have remained unconnected from the upper network controlling the nation, and is surprised that their home was so aptly prepared for survival in what the world has become. Too bad they weren't immune to the plague, though.
Anyway, if Ven or whoever controls the RP doesn't like this, go ahead and say so and I'll just change it to them being a bunch of paranoid people determined to separate themselves and live on their own. Which would explain the unusual supplies, at any rate. The rest hasn't been introduced to the RP yet, and can stay that way.
