There is no old version. There's only the legal and pirated version. I suggest you purchase the legal version in order to utilize this, there is no other way, seeing that it utilizes the SDK.

There are 2 versions of RMXP. Pirate, which is 1.01 and down, unless you bought it legally. 1.02a, which is the latest is the legal version and costs money. You would always be able to open a project with 1.02a.
