One question

How do you show a picture in the message window without using a script?

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. you just put this in the message window '\f[]', where '[]' is where you put the name of the pic file you want to show.

I don't use any message scripts. You are able to do this with the default script alone. Apparently when you type that command, the program reaches into your game files and looks for the file that matches the one you typed in the '[]'.....not sure how it works, but it beats copying and pasteing a script.

Here are a few screenshots from my project, showing that it works and that there are no scripts added in:

The scripts below are the only ones I'm gonna have in my project. I pack light.

Here is the event in which I type the command:

And here is what it looks like:

Certain names, looks and dialogue will differ when the game is finished.

It just for quickies, but people who want the message-boxes looking more professional then they would already have one of those advanced message scripts.

Having RMXP not being able to feature facesets is the whole reason to use this.......
when you type that command in the message box, the program finds the file you typed in in the graphics section of your game folder and shows it within the message. It doesn't HAVE to be used for a faceset substitution but its good otherwise. No script. It's been used with the legal version. The picture appears on the right side of the box....if you want the picture or faceset or whatever to appear on the left side or anywhere otherwise you'd have to use a AMS.
