I tried that and it didn't work... I set a common event to 'parallel' with a switch that needs to be activated.
In the body of the coommon event I put wait 585 frames(about 15 seconds) and did that 4 times, then 'play me'
I then made an event in the game that activates the switch to make the common event work and activated it..
I've waited 2-3 minutes while testing and it doesn't ever make the ME play. I'm not really sure what the problem is
