Hi, first of all please don't think anything of this, there is nothing serious going down; I just want to clarify some things.
We've been having someone register recently trying to troll and to be honest that's not all that bad. We're not going to go all heavy handed and make a mountain out of a molehill.
Our policy with trolls will from hereon be "trolls are people too".
If you think somebody is an "obvious troll" I really don't care. If you see any legitimate rule breaking then report it as usual, do not reply. Again, only if something specifically breaks the rules.
In short, the word "troll" does not mean anything. You can be "trolling" but that doesn't mean anything either. There are chill people, and there are times when people break our very lax rules. We will only act if somebody specifically breaks these rules, and of course we are very good with our warnings and verbal warnings if there is clearly no intent.
I want everyone to follow this, because we really are a cool place to be at the moment and I don't want that ruined by people perhaps being a little heavy handed over seeing an "obvious troll".
If someone is here to cause harm, they will be warned or banned if and when they actually break the rules. Until then, more fool them, they are becoming active and cool members of the community and I thank them for that.
