On-map quick weapon switch? [XP]

My game relies heavily on weapons only. No other equips other than weapons, and I would rather not use "main" menu at all. Simply save points scattered around, an item menu, and a quick weapon switch/cycle triggered from the map without having to go into a menu. I've seen a script by SephirothSpawn that did this, but the download link didn't work.

Is there anybody interested in helping me achieve this?!

I have to ask for a clear explanation of this. The switch only works for one actor? you want to open a submenu tu select weapon? or that rotate the weapons that the character can equip from inventary? there are more characters?
