You're welcome to do whatever you like to with them, big heads or otherwise as long as you stick to the license (which briefly is credit me, don't make money off it and make your derivatives available freely) :)
 
These are superb graphics, but i have two suggestions. first, give the female sprites their own clothes. if i am to use them, i want my project at least at a "M" rating. :) Also, the females have hair, but the men dont. it would be cool if you could do that.

Sorry about that, I sort of bounce back and forth working on what I'm interested in when I have time for it :D  I do have one set of raggy clothes for the women, no hair for the men yet.  You're welcome to sprite some of your own though of course ;)  Here's a new screenshot of the tileset, I added a few new items.  Also the female figure is in the scene now and with a full set of clothes to boot (the side view on the pants needs work, should have caught her at a different angle! :().

Edit edit:  Major update on 2/12 with final version of tileset :)  Still on the first page, so no bump.
 
I made come simple recolurs of the skin and made the jacket with two arms. would this be a place to show them or would it be better to make another post?

also, i dont know how to apply the pixelmovement. would you be able to show me a project or somthing because i am confused. :crazy:

You can show them here if you like, or start another thread.  Up to you :)  I'll post a demo in the next week or so with pixelmovement applied if you can chill that long, but if you have the script (fotzbearchen or something like that, I think it's in the tyke section) it's pretty easy.  Just create a new folder inside the Graphics folder called "Z-Passability" and drop the pass map into it.  Make sure it's named the same as the tileset sheet, too, that might be your problem - photobucket won't let me name them the same even if they're in different folders so you'll have to rename it yourself.  I'm pretty sure that's all there is to it.

It looks like they got shrunk a little bit :(  I use DerVVulfman's Visual Equipment & "Brenda's Visual Battler" w/minikoff animated battlers.  You can find his latest version in the demo here, you want demo #2, it's not available on RMXP.org anymore (sorry mods for the outside link).

Now, speaking of the battlers, I did the first idle frame for the battler template today!  Here it is:

This is a ready stance wielding a staff, spear or polearm of some sort, which will be the primary weapon for the fist character.  I changed the skin tone palette for it a bit, the contrast was too low.  I may update the sprite palettes with it eventually as well.  Animation coming soon :D
 
I love your tileset, it has that old 1990s Shadowrun feel. I bet with some fogs it could have great potential for making 'gritty' games. Do you have a demo out using this set? I'd like to see it in action.

I am waiting to post a demo until I get a few more things done, namely more clothes, some fogs and enough battlers for a combat demo (hopefully a background screen too).

Updated the battler, he has two frames of animation now, you'll need to refresh the page to see it :)

Edit: Four Frames now, with breathing.

This is seriously my first attempt ever at animating an anatomically correct person, I'm pretty happy with myself right now :)

Edit: Updated the animation, the idle and hit animation are finished now, and I included a metal pole as a reference object to show his pose.  You will need to refresh the page if you've already seen an earlier version since I updated over the old one.  I'm using visual equip battlers so it will change as the player's weapon changes of course.

I would love a critique of the poses as I go through them if anyone here is involved in martial arts and familiar with the bo-staff.  I used to be but am extremely rusty and working off memory, I can't find any good references for stances. :)  I'm working vaguely from Tae-Kwon-Do.

Also, whew, I post more in my own thread than everyone else combined >.<  Need to get a life... :)
 
lookit how fluid that movement is! Man there's nothing I can think to say either then marvelous. I wish I could be more helpful but there's Nothing I can find that needs improvement.
 
Now that I'm looking at this on a better monitor, I see that the eyes are all buggy and a little freaky, like he's going O_O "WTF?!". I think that if you lose the whites in his eyes it'd be a lot better.

I just can't say anything bad about the body, though. I know that's incredibly unhelpful, but jebus, is that a nice body.

Thanks again guys :)  I'll try without the whites in the eyes and see how he looks, I was afraid they'd be too narrow without.  I've finished the third stance (woozy/winded), if you refresh you can see it. :)

Edit:  Okay updated with revised faces.  Good call on that one, I think his face looks a ton better now.  Another refresh should show it. :)

Edit edit: Included block stance.  The cycle is now Idle->Struck->Woozy->Block.

Oh!  before I forget, thanks to Kicks and his sprite work in Beyond the Veil for inspiration for the dust clouds on the block stance (mine are original, but I wouldn't have got the idea of using it to help show motion if he hadn't first :D).
 
that battler is preety moby. (If you watched the Weird Al Show, you would understand what that is.)
i would love to see him firing a gun. like a pistol, a uzi and a rifle thing.
what sideview script you planning on using?

Pretty Moby?  He's a bald vegan?  Haha could be!  His secondary weapon will be a gun so you'll get to see that when I get to that animation, but for this battler it will be handguns only.  I will probably in the distant future have other characters with other weapon sets, but I'm keeping it simple right now.  I am going to be using Minikoff's animated battlers w/ DerVVulfman's visual battler script, with some slight modifications if I can figure out how.
