NPC and character Interactions

please help
i want to make a NPC that once the characters have talked to him they can not talk to him until the party is level 5.
how do i do this cause i'm going nuts
 
you MAY not have to use conditional branches.

On the event's normal page, put in all the text
you want when they first talk to him.

then after the text, Control Self Switch (Activate a SELF switch, whichever you want, A-D)

then create a second event page.

make the 2nd page's trigger/condition, Self switch(A/B/C/D) is ON.
also, one of the conditions should be the Variable : Player's level

then put the text you want the NPC to say.

A bit easier to handle if you want to reuse/abuse that NPC.
