Notebook Doodles (caution: excessively silly)

Since cramming all my crap into the sketch thread is probably not the best way to do things, here's a thread to store the stuff I doodle during the day. Maybe you'll find it entertaining.

I honestly wish I had time to do an actual drawing but THESE ARE THE BEST YOU'RE GOING TO GET, OKAY

Someday I will spend actual effort and make something look good. Today is not that day. But some day will be that day. (not today)

I tend to not spend a whole lot of time on drawings and to overuse the same expressions and poses a lot. (the clenched teeth and puffy cheek thing especially) Also, any time I draw to draw a body using traditional figure guidelines, it looks terrible. :I

I really like the idea of this businessman character (elaborated upon in the last doodle post) having an excitable and enthusiastic Asian coworker. Who gets on his nerves a lot (but only means well)

Airship! Here is a skeleton character because skeletons are super neat. He wears spirally goggles in order to see things. (because he is a skeleton and has no eyes duhhh)

You seem to be getting A LOT better. I love that your characters actually have personality and quirkyness in just being sketches. I hope that made sense. o.o Heh. Anyhoo, you seem to be developing your own style quite nicely - something most artists struggle with. I think. O_O (I sure am. I'm still doodling manga-style because I like cute stuff. :X)

i am skeptical that the insides of an airship that looks like a dirigible would have the living-part in the balloon-part! it seems like it would always be really helium-y (or, god forbid, hydrogen-y) in there!!!

but i love you and you are a creative so keep creating.

i had an obsession with drawing puffins when i was in H.S. too. i wish i still had my doodles from back then ;o;

These are adorable! I envy the confidence and style of your little doodles, and the colored ones are very sharp and clean.

so yeah man your doodles are pretty cute. a lot of them are pretty hilarious as well so that's awesome. although a good amount of them are pretty hard to see. and yeah the colored ones are nice too, but they don't have quite as much character as most of your doodles.

idk. i thought it looked kind of funny. i tried doing sketch logs on my trip to australia for a little bit.

okay i'm not particularly proud of these ones, but they were drawn at 30 000 feet. so that's kind of cool.

also i went SURFING in australia so i drew a picture of myself SURFING.
