Noob question: Is there anyway to make these skills?

Okay, is there anyway I can make the states

Regen and/or Reraise? I just can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Skills, yes.

States, probably. Reraise is like auto-life, right? Hmm, I'll take a look. I'm not sure about Regen though.


Just by opening the States Tab of the Database gave me the answer right away for Reraise.

First, reduce Knockout's rating to 9. Then, increase the maximum amount of States (if needed). Make the Reraise state, cancel the Knockout state, and make it rating 10. That should do it. I'll open a test battle, and tell you in a minute.

My idea didn't work. Sorry.


After editing it a bit, I got it to ALMOST work. The problem is, as soon as I reached crit health I COULDN'T DIE.

I make KO a rank 10 again, and that overrode Reraise which was also rank 10. Hmm... I've almost got it.

you could add in a 'remove state' if you want it to be a one time effect.

you could also do 'regen' the same way.

REMEMBER you have to add this code into all of your 'troops'. :}

Meh, that works too. I wasn't thinking logically.

For Regen it would be Turn 1+1x then the conditional branch, right?

if 'regen' is where you regain HP every turn, you'd just set it to raise the actor's hp instead of un-unflicting the state.

btw, this 're-raise' only works if another character is still alive at the end of the turn. if you want something more intricate, you'll need to ask those know-it-alls with the scripting expertise.

BTW you ALSO need to add an instance like this for EVERY one of your 'actors' (characters). otherwise it only works for ralph. :}

You could also take the script that regenerates hp / mp during defending and throw in a few edits to make it for that particular state as opposed to defending.

I found a Regen script that works great.

I did mean re-raise as in auto-life so ill use the methods you gave me.
