I hope it does. 10.5" wide isn't TERRIBLE for a handheld (especially considering the iPad, Tabs, and whatever tablet PCs), but as a controller it's a little much.

Link certainly looks very... pretty in Skyward Sword. That's pretty much the only snark I have to offer about it. It looks like they're reconciling Wind Waker's stylization with more realistic designs quite well, and plus I'm just excited for another straight-up dungeon-style Zelda after the bust Spirit Tracks turned out to be.
As for the Wii-U itself, I'mma withhold judgement. The two-screens thing seems like it could have some fun applications, but it also seems like something that would make for irritating gimmicks in the console's infancy and in eighty percent of third-party titles.
The new SSB, well, I'm sure it's gonna be fun. They always are. Even the first game was fun, and it was pretty broken and thin on content. My secret hope is that Snake returns as a playable character, even though I know it's very unlikely. Snake is just cool.
And Ocelot, simply because being able to go
Ugh, I'm dissolving into the same kind of pipe-speculation that made the wait for Brawl a hell. Gonna be a long couple of years!

LOL....It looks like the WII got scared after the Xbox released connect and now it's trying to get revenge but I don't think it's going to work to well. And even if it does, we all the know the xbox will probably just copy the Wii and do it better... LMAO!

As much as I dislike what we've seen of the Wii U so far since it seems they're only just catching up to this gen in terms of graphics and it doesn't offer anything new except being able to play a game without needing the tele (I have portable consoles for that), I'd take it anyday over Disneyland Adventures... more like Pedophile Paradise... and you said that as if Kinect is better... riiiiight.

I'm generally prejudiced toward new consoles solely because nowadays all they're about are competition and making monies, but I still have to say the Wii-U seems to be going backwards with what Nintendo was all about. What happened to motion-sensing and involved movement, etc.? I really don't see the need for an extra screen when there's a whole TV for use. Sure, it's portable, but if I wanted portable I'd just get a 3DS.
