You should leave it up there anyway! If you do win top 12, you can give the standard edition Construct 2 to someone else.
I myself am running out of gas for my entry too, because the genre that I made my game in (top down... melee range aoe? it's not even a shooter because you don't aim... >.>) was never what I wanted to make in the first place. I wanted to make a RPG, but with how I'm only a beginner that'll be a tough nut to finish in a month, so I decided on something that I can modify upon the tutorial.
Now I have a game that's easy enough to make, but as my knowledge with game making starts to increase, I feel more and more incline to use said knowledge to start what I really wanted to do in the first place. I want to keep my entry up anyway to try for one out of 12 Construct 2 license.
