New writer, new game

Hello all. I'm a writer and a occasional gamer attempting to consolidate to a game writer. Found RMXP about 6 months ago and have been having a blast. If I have any strengths, they are in writing, mapping, and cut scenes. I'm lazy spriter and hopeless scripter, for which I have been prowling sites like this one for months already picking up resources (for which all will be credited when I post a demo).

I have a project that is near and dear to my heart, which I will be posting details about soon.

I also have at least one major script request, as my battle sequences have gone about as far as RTP will take them, but are still pretty flat. All this for another forum.

Just wanted to put my hat in the ring. Thanks.

welcome to the site, kick off your shoes, and enjoy the atmosphere.

there're lots of cool cats here who'll help you with your scripts and plenty of places to talk about mechanics, story, etc. also if you're a writer, we need mroe blood in the literary analysis section.

hey, welcome!

agree with you about XP's default battle system. it's probably the worst interface out of all their releases, so most people using XP look for something different there. best of luck with all that stuff, anyway.
