Oh, Credits to Green raven for the pallet <<;

EDIT: Back row finished >>

Is this the kingdom hearts sprite just edited?

It looks nice. I'm not going to lie. I do like your palette as well.
I do like the stance of the sideview [[even if its more of a diagonal than anything]]

Its kinda heroic. :]

I really like this template a lot. I can actually sprite with it. Do you think you could make some animations/poses for it? Like Sitting or up against a wall. << Or crouched down

EDIT:...What palette?

I won't use special poses in my game, so for now I don't think I'll add those, on the other side, when I start doing the battle poses, I?ll post them here aswell.

SO, not meaning to be rude, many people have told you that the side views look diagonal and that the animations dont or wont look right in-game and you're just ignoring everyone?

These Templates make me laugh everytime I look at it because they are ripped and then they have a little chibi-type head ontop.

Is there any proof that they're ripped? If so, it is probably the reason he won't listen to advice and change accordingly lol.

I think he meant ripped as in in good shape, not ripped as in taken from another place.
And as for the sideview, what can I tell you? I like them that way. I don't like normal sideview with bigger sprites, it looks strange to me. I might change it in the future, but don't count on that.

<< yeah, that is what I meant...Like Buff....Strong.....Whatever. And I don't really mind the side view, But I haven't seen them in game either though =/

OK I've been looking at some SNES sprites, and in many the sideview looks a bit diagonal too, and people liked the that way, so I don't se the problem with mine.

and Data mage, my template is original, I spent quite a few hours making it. The reason why I don't want to change things that don't look wrong to me is because it's the template I'll use in my own game, I just wanted to share it with others that might or not like it. and in my game, I won't be using special poses, but emotion ballons, and that's why I won't make poses for now

Hello , wonderfull template.

I decided to change my old template with this, so i will make real side view : right now it's a 3/4 view for diagonal movement

I add a face too, this is my game template, i will post a real nude template with all finished poses

I adjust eye and clothes

PS : i think female template is great too, just legs are too heavy
Ps2 : the clothes are not fur. i think i added  bad effects    :pissed:
I think i will add lot of poses for my heros : run, jump, crouch, i will post thoses templates too and many thanks for craybest  :thumb:

Looks like it's time for one of my extra long critiques ^_^

While I like the template and it has a lot of potential I believe there's quite a bit of room for improvement. I'll start with anatomy issues from the top and move down and then throws some shading tips at ya .
The one problem I noticed with the head is the placement of the eyes, they're up just one pixel too high which causes them to be right in the center of the head, since you're looking down on the sprite you wanna see a little more of the upper head than the lower head.
Next is the lack of a neck, your body just connects right to the shoulders which isn't how heads are stuck to bodies :P Easily changed by moving a few pixels around ^_^
Down to the arms now! Your main problem here is the shape of your hand, not as noticeable is a few little outline changes pixels that need to be moved for smoothness.
Your hand is gonna have to bump out an extra pixel so that it's defined as a hand and not just an extended part of the arm, making it one pixel thicker on both sides does a nice job fixing this one ^_^ The wrist, however; IS going to just stay straight with the arm, it shouldn't jut in like it is now.
Down to the legs, almost done! I like how you tried to add in the extra detail of knees, the problem is that how is pokes in a pixel looks quite off. Most people's upper legs are larger than their lower legs, sprites should be no exception to that so make his thighs a pixel wider than the rest of his leg, now with the right shading those knees will look great! The feet are last and they're probably the most messed up part of the sprite., but that's okay, a lot of people have trouble with feet at first. I'm really not sure how to explain it, I'd just look at the example I'll have up at the end of this post so you can get an idea of how they should look.
Now that the outlines are nice and perfect you've gotta fix your shading. There's quite a bit of pillow-shading going on here(most noticeably in the arms and legs) and there's lots of unnecessary shading. Getting rid of that though is more of a matter of practice and looking at examples and tutorials to learn where shadows should be.
A little something I did for practice: Take the RTP template and erase all of it's shading. Now re-shade it yourself and compare it to the original. This'll help you learn where you're shading too much and where you're not shading enough! ^_^
Last thing I'd like to address is something that's been mentioned many times already, the side view walk. YES many sprites do show a slight bit of the other side of the body on the side-views to add some detail and make the sprite look less flat, usually they have a slightly diagonal look to them. It's great that you want to add that to your sprite because it's a great idea but the problem is that you made your side views TOO diagonal and now they're in an isometric view. This is something you'll HAVE to change to make this template usable because otherwise it looks like he's strafing or facing forwards and walking sideways.

Hope that helps a bit and here's an example of a small revamp I did! Hope to see some improvement soon, good luck! ^_^

The Panda, I prefer the original.
This is actually quite easy to sprite with, I've been putting off the graphical part of my game for some time but I made the first 4 poses for a character in no time with this.

Panda, i think you're right about a lot of things (and i will considere those to modify my template), so
- legs and feets are better from your example, just feet are too high
- i'm not skillful to talk about shadow, i think you're right about to see how rtp made
- i don't like arm and head from your example
- i don't understand neck problem, your example has same neck
- about iso pose , I planned to make a side view asap if craybest    or other graphist don't want make it
- i prefer first coloration : more contrast and volume

Thank a lot to help about this great charset :)

My example actually doesn't have the same neck. The bottom of my sprite's head is parallel to the tops of his shoulders and his sprite's head is one pixel lower than the shoulders which causes my sprite to show the little extra space for a neck :)
Also, I actually upped the contrast in my colors a bit because I thought it was too low in his. The reason his looks like it has more contrast and volume is because of the fact that he shades MORE than I do. A lot of this extra shading is un-necessary(like the big blotch of shadow near the top of his chest) or pillow-shading(like the arms and legs). Just because it's shaded more doesn't mean it's shaded better ^_^
The head is more of a stylistic choice, either way is fine so if you like his then use his, if you use mine then use mine. Howver, I do think his needs just a bit more shading on the top of the head and a little less on the bottom no matter what.
