New equip Menu

I'm having some major issues with a script I've been working on, I took the default Equip menu and I want to turn it into an extras equip menu. it uses the last two Default equipment slots, where as the normal equipment menu uses the first three. now heres my problem, Even though I've ensured that the new menu isn't using or taking commands from any of the default scripts(aside from the newly listed ones designed just for the new menu) it still insists upon removing my weapons and armor even if it's not on the same slot, for example if I have a sword equiped in the weapons slot and I go to the extra equip menu and try to equip something on the body armor slot, my weapon is now removed.

Can anyone help me? Hopefully that was a clear post, if not let me know.
 
If I understand you right, you want to use only two slots? Why don't you just use the first two?

Also, you might use the Lock function that can bind items to a character (set in the Database, Player tab)

1. If I do that then my weapons and armor is removed from the other equip menu

2. I want these to be changeable, not set equipment.
