No screenshots? im not sure i follow, i have numerous screenshots in the first post, im confued :huh:

Also "Ancients" is and always has been a placeholder name untill i thought of something that was unique and that i liked.

Ive started working on the game again, and id say its close to the point of being able to release a demo.

So the ancients were really advanced and sophisticated, but then their entire civilization got destroyed by some evil? So, there is still some sci fi, but is in the mideival/dark ages. Gotcha.

So this game will use a ABS battle system? Since lucien is the only playable character.

And anything from the classic final fantasies(ie, 1-10, like crystals and stuff) is considered to pretty much be cliched. Hell, they made 90% of all rpg cliches.

Yes that right, im gald someone finally found it easy to understand. They maintain a small number of advanced technologies and machines from their golden age, but have reverted to a more medieval way of life due to their lost knowledge and considerably smaller population.

Untill i find a better system, yes. Athough i have adjusted and added a few things.

Quite the contrary, only has minor FF influences, none to do with quests or the story, all visual/gameplay related such as the limit breaker, and a few graphics and sounds. All very minimal, im trying to make a unique game here.

I don't think I was too clear. The ff influence wasn't referring to the entire game being influenced, but the "Ancients" name thing.The "Ancients" name thing was a pretty huge thing, and I feel like "Ancients" is a pretty big cliche for some reason.

Then why bother to mention it? lol.

Several names are placeholders, all being locations or names.

This will change before anything is released so i really dont see a problem.
