Ness & Lucas shoop

what a long night! i manages to photoshop up a nice painting of ness and lucas. there may seem to be some continuity issues between ness and lucas - this is because i started out with a 'im gonna make this look like a painting' thing, then kinda started to exaggerate it a little too much on ness, and i had to go over lucas a little bit and messy-up his colors.

i hate that it has a plain ass white background, but i'm not good at coming up with background ideas... thus lucas' pk thunder is having a hard time showing up.

hmm they're pretty good.
I like the color. style is unique..but
I think they had "no expression".
and one more, they had same expression
It looks they've lost their soul and controlled by
some other force. and eyes also posing weird,
because I can't find where they are looking.

anyway it is pretty good. Keep it up and
try to improve your skills.

Anyways I think its quite good. The colors are horribly dull but I'm guessing since you're trying to portray the 3d look that was simulated in the old strategy guide that its fine?

Will there be other Earth bound characters?

i used the ssbb ness CGI image for reference. he's not supposed to have eyebrows! :0

i've also never seen the earthbound strategy guide, so i'm not sure what you mean. i was trying to give it a really soft look, which is why i used all the dim colors. i wanted it to look cute!

also my monitor is really old and crappy, it likes to smear dark colors, so i may have compensated a bit too much for this in assuming it may be slightly brighter than it actually is.

Colors isn't what makes it cute - it helps make something cute, but it isnt what makes something cute, its expression and style.
