Need NAME CHANGING help

Okay, so, i'm new here, and I have a slight dilema, i'd like to know, how to make an NPC use the name that a player manually produced, so--

If the main charecter's name is LLOYD, and you change it to SYNTHOS< how would I go about making NPC's call him 'SYNTHOS'?

If he is actor number one in your database type this instead of a name: \n[1]
(Or was that slash the other way around? Idk try both)
It will automatically show the name of the actor.

If it's the player's name then use:

Hello, you're name appears to be \n[0] and you are cool.

Which would read as

Hello, you're name appears to be Aluxes and you are cool.
