Hey everyone I need some more help.

Can someone explain switches to me because I read the tut and everything on treasure chest and repeating events and ive attempted and it always screws up.

Ok I followed the instructions and it never switches to the empty chest even though I turn the Self switch to A and a I can still obtain the item over and over again.

You shouldn't add the option to close the chest again. Just delete the Empty Chest = off.

Alright. I did that I deleted the turn switch off and the chest dissapeared entirely.

Notice that the self-switch stays on. If you turn a switch off, the event reverts back to the first page - meaning you can open the chest over and over again.

Take the switch "Empty Chest" (Upper Left hand corner)off the first page and take the one that is in the eventing off and put a "Self Switch(A)" in the event where it turns on and on the second page in the upper left hand corner check the "Self Switch" conditions on.


That is the way to do it but if you want it to look like it is opening you have to put a Move event in it where it changes the graphics.
