Hello, I am using the FMBS XRXS

and I can't seem to figure how to make status effects work in battle.
an example is that i'm trying to make a paralysis spell that last for about 15 sec but nothing happens when enemys are hit with it.
also if anyone knows, how can i extend the battlefield? it doesn't work when i try in the CBE script.
and another question if anyone knows is is it possible to cast and while your waiting for the casting time to finish, be able to move around but unable to attack until your spell is done or the enemy hits you?
