Need help with Shadowstep custom menu and saving cost items script

I have the http://www.rmxp.org/forums/index.php?topic=23011 script, and the http://www.gamebaker.com/rmxp/scripts/e ... s-item.php. When i loaded the custom menu script, it longer requires an item to save, like i want it to. So I am wondering if i edit some values in the script(s), if maybe i can have both, but still have the item save limitation on.
