Need help with RPG XP title

hi, im new to all this especially this website so srry if i did something wrong with posting. anyways i have RGSS hero edition 3.5 anyways i adjusted everything so that way i can make my own game by using my time active battle system. So now i have all the tools for making my own rpg except i have one problem. You know the title part of it where it says new game, continue and stuff like that? well i want to adjust that so i can make my own title but each time i try to change by deleting the titles it already has it says error. i think its cuz of something in the script. i noe y it says error its cuz its cuz the titles in the file that are deleted are missing from the game so when i do playtest it notices they are missing and it says error. so my question is how can i take out the titles it already has and change it so i can make my own title without it saying error each time i playtest. thanks for your time and srry for long post. plz help if u can

Go to the menu option 'Tools', then Materialbase, make sure you stand on the folder saying Graphics/Titles. Click import and get your title picture.
Go back to Tools, then Database, click the system tab and then click on 'Title graphic'. Select the new title, and your done.

Put your title graphic in the titles folder and pick the title graphic in the system tab. If this isn't your problem, please spell out your words and punctuate, capitalize, and line break for new paragraphs. Nothing helps readability like good grammars! :thumb:

No ive tried that it would work on the RPG XP normal version but not with this one. this one is an RPG XP XAS version which has its own script with a time active battle system in it. ive adjusted it to my fitting so that i can make my own maps and etc but keep the battle system. ive downloaded it from this site.

And so everything works except when i try to make my own title. it already has it's own title. But when i try placing my own title in it and deleting the other titles it already contains. it realises they are missing and says Error because it is missing the title that was there before. So this enables me to play test. So i was wondering how i can remove the titles it already contains so that i can add my own title.

So the titles in that video are what i want to take out. but when i do it says error so again. plz help me out

He answered your question, You may be importing your own title, and deleting the other, But you are not changing the title in the systems tab.
Therefore, your RPG is looking for a title that does not exist, causing an error. If you can't figure something simple like this out, Why not just edit the title already there, or make yours and rename the same. :S It's simple stuff, it even has this in the help section of the program xD

No i did change it on systems tab but it still does the error. i noe this simple stuff. ive changed titles before but not on XAS Hero. its different cuz i have to edit alot of things so that i can make it my owngame. but ya im going to try and edit the title already there. thanks

The script itself might be specifying a default title screen, in which case you need to import a picture/title with the same name as the title screen already imported after you delete that one, or go into the script and change the name of the graphic it looks for.

Thank God i figured it out. thanksfor everyones help. i edited the pictures it currently had and saved the file so now it works XD
