Need help with making events!

So, i am a noob with this thing, i just got it cuz it sounded pretty cool, but i can only do basic things ( REALLY basic things) and i was trying to start the game off by having the main character sleeping and some guy walks through the door and wakes you up, but i dont know how to make him stop after he wakes him up, he just keeps saying the same thing over and over again.

Add the command "Control Self Switches: A = On". Click on "New Event Page" at the top, and check the box that says "Self Switch A is On". In the next event page, just give the guy a graphic and put some text you want him to say if you talk to him. This will make it so he only wakes you up once.
