Need help with Changing weapon graphics when a other weapon is equipped.

Pretty much like the topic says, I'm currently busy with a project (It's located on the Battleon Forums.) and I would like to have custom artwork for each battlesprite.
One thing I want to add to this, that I want to let it change his weapon graphic, when a other weapon is applied.

Is this possible without a script/insane amounts of eventing?

P.s. Yes, I am prettty new here. xD
 
Is this for your own, personal battle system?

With the default system, you can select your own custom animations for both the animation for the attacker and the target.  No scripting, or even eventing, is required at all.

(I'm assuming here that by "Weapon graphic," you mean "Animation."  If instead you mean to alter the battler graphic based on the weapon equipped, that's a fairly simple system that can be evented.)

Is that what you had in mind?
 
What i had in mind is, once the game has the Side to Side battle system, is that when you change your weapons, your looks in the battle, change also.

Hopefully, i'm explaining it a bit correctly... xD

I know a few things like using Conditional branches and such, like ''If Actor-01 has Bronze sword equipped, change battle graphic to Actor-01bronzesword''
Or something in that nature.

Atleast, that's ow i understood it... (Or in other words, pretty much like the Project Enex has, but without the view range things.)
 
That can be done in a fairly simple manner-- you'd need a Parallel Process Common Event, and have it Change Battler Graphic if a given weapon is equipped.

Of course, if you do this, you're going to need ever-larger numbers of character graphics and conditional branches checking that stuff as the number of weapons increases, which can get absolutely huge.

A more efficient system would need a custom script, of course.

That did the trick, and don't worry about the massive amounts of conditional branches and such, only a couple of weapons will change the graphics. :P
