Need help with BGM ( RMXP ).

I'm having difficulties with making the music loop WITHOUT the introduction. I've tried cutting the introduction and playing them separately ( I have no clue what I'm doing ). How do I make it so that the introduction only plays once, and then the rest loops ( example : Zora's Domain in OOT )?

Any help would be appreciated.

The only solution I do know is that you find out how long the Intro music is and then after it ends you put a "@>Play BGM: [Your BGM]" in the event starting the Intro. Place that after the @>Play BGM [intro].

DONT FORGET THOUGH: Put a "wait" command between the two Play BGM conditions. Write wait: "300 frames" or what you know out of how long the intro BGM is. You must test different values in "wait" so the Intro doens't loop.

It's only looping the intro, it won't play the other song.

edit : nvm, I fixed it.

Yeah It should work with the wait command. It will loop just a little bit but you have to figure out how long the son is so you know how long to wait. Also you should have a 'fade ot BGM' before starting the new song to play^^

//Hope this was any help!

I havent used Rm in years but maybe if you played the second file (no intro) as the BGM, but then immediately force an ME to play (the first file with the intro) then the ME should force itself over the BGM, but then when it's done, the BGM should kick in.
