Need game music/ critique?

@First one (Epic)
I think it's near perfect, really liking the sound, but that high pitched sound (glockenspiel?) needs to go. It sticks out like butter in a cake mixture. Perhaps you can change it to bells, but softer or with more echo to distinguish it from the main one.

@Second one (Intro)
I like the atmosphere a lot, but same deal with the high pitched sound (although it definitely fits here a lot more than in the first one). Try taking it down an octave or looking for another instrument that sounds similar but isn't as piercing. My only other complaint is the synth that builds up and then fades into the string sound. It's not a bad sound once it hits the end of the crescendo, but it sounds a bit spacey/dystopian-future with it. If that's what you're going for then it's fine.

Other than that I really, really enjoyed these. Great work! :smile:

Thanks! Yeah I was kind of iffy on the bell sound too, but I'll remove that for sure. lol and yeah it wasn't exactly the vibe I was going for so I'll find a different string sound.

thanks for the detailed feedback!

only thing i think they need is a little fine tuning. some better samples and id call them good. they do tend to be a little repetitive but they dont get boring so thats good

they have a good feel to them and they have a definitive "this song should be used for this" kinda feel. for instance the second one i feel would make a very good intro or for like deep in a peaceful forest thats kind of mysterious and mystical

Hey, they're pretty good. :) I'll give more critique after I hear them a few times.
Could you make a battle music for me? My game is a pet raising game, so I want a battle music that isn't too epic or spells 'danger'. You know, cheerful music with a nice beat, which loops.

Wow, These are pretty good :smile: I love The Epic.mp3 It sounds awsome. I love Intro.mp3 to :) The thing you did at 0:26 Was really cool! Great job over all.

oh and could you do me some Intro and Credit Music? My game is Celtic Based so I hope you can do something with a Celtic Sound :)

So the Credits need to be slightly Epic. and the Intro needs to be like your entering an old Scottish/Irish/British/Whaleish Pub/Inn. Well If you can do these for me I would be very Greatful! :grin:

Thanks everybody!

silver wind and kodi, I'm working on your music right now.It might take a little bit because I've been really busy lately, but I'll send you a pm soon with a version of your songs. thanks again

Epic was very, very well done! The second one wasn't as good as the first one but it still had some potential. It seemed to me like some parts weren't on que, like some of the notes happened too early. I wouldn't call it off-beat, but it's more of a third-note-instead-of-fourth-note kind of thing.

ya bro epic sounds promising, i would change the bell out with another bell or sample but it kept my attention, and the drums sound great so stay with that, if u get a chance I got a few songs for my upcoming game you might like to hear, i postd it on my thread, hope to hear more
