Need a lot of help with XAS...

Alright, I been working with XAS for two days now and I just CAN'T figure it out, no matter how many tutorials I've read. It's not just the normal XAS that I am trying to get to work though, I am trying to get the XAS Ally script to work.
Here is the scripts I am working with:

No matter what I try and do.. Nothing works.. Right now I'm just trying to get the characters to appear on screen and act normally. So far all I can do is get one character in my party to show up, (out of 2) but every time I move, the character just warps right on top of me, instead of moving around with me.


EDIT: So I tried adding additional characters to the 2nd map page, and now I'm getting a script error, and it doesn't even tell me what script is bad, or what line when I try and switch maps to get my partners on the screen.

have you thought about importing your work into the demo instead?

there's quite a few ALLY systems for XAS out there, none which are user friendly...

o making the ALLY map,
o creating events in every map,
o having the script configured correctly
o setting up the actors in your database
(as well as the enemies)

leaves alot of room for error.

EDIT: I've been to that site before, its where I got the ally script from. I followed the tutorial exactly. The tutorials don't really help with running into errors, so that's why I come over here!

@seda - I had the chance to take a look at your project and seen the errors mentioned,
it looks like you're setup correctly having the map with events, I would double check your database
and map settings then zero in on the script.

personally I would upgrade to XAS 3.6 then carefully place the ally system into your project.
if not it would be best to just use the ally demo, change graphics, tilesets,
actors, and leave the rest the way it is...
