My Work for a Breast Cancer Awareness Project

Since October is officially breast-cancer awareness month, my Advanced Art Structure teacher organized a class project where we would pant/decorate on a plaster cast of the female torso. Despite the fact that this is a high school project, it received A LOT of a attention around my city, and such casts are being auctioned on ebay, where the money gained will go towards breast cancer research. ^_^

For the sake of showing off my work, here it is:

It was made with acrylic pant and a combination of silk and dried flowers. I felt like I coulhd have made a few more improvements to it, but I'm pretty happy with it overall, too bad I won't be keeping it. :'(
Strangely enough, this work got the most attention, which was a bit overwhelming for me since I feel used to negative comments.

That's really cool. And I mean that about both being a part of something as important as breast-cancer awareness month and being a really cute and creative design.

VERY cute. I like how the sunflowers are where the boobies are in the cast <3

Working in 3 dimensions is hard, and you did a nice job. A worthy cause, too, so kudos :'3
