My try at music

Okay, I don't know what I was going for with this, but if anything, I'd say it would be battle music if I made it longer.

Anyway, let me warn you first that I don't know how to read music, I've never played a musical instrument (nor do I know how) or do I know much about all the different tools that the thing allows. This composition was done solely through trial and error.

If you intend for this to be battle music, then let me suggest the following.
1. Add some sort of percussion in the background (ie. cymbal that hits every three beats or something)
2. Some bass, maybe a standing bass or a quiet or acoustic bass guitar.
3. No Definite ending, because if the battle lasrted longer than the piece, you would clearly hear when it ended and looped again.
4. Put one of the current string instruments at a lower note that compliments the first one. That way you may eliminate the need for bass altogether, or you can still include bass for a more full effect.

Take these into consideration. I look forward to seeing an updated piece.

well, i think it is as good as my first try:
sounds promissing, but becomes weird ;)
at first i think, wow, a theme representing hope, and then it jumps up and down and you feel like swirled around.

As i said, sounds promising, but try to give your music a kind of feeling that persists til the end.
You should also be sure, that the music won't trip while repeating.

The last thing i can say is:
keep it up.
you can't be a superstar without practicing (exception: boygroups :D)

The more practice the better the feeling for how you have to handle the tones, speed, instruments...

waiting for your next tune,
Caldaron
