Finale' is one of the best. But it's expensive.

Midisoft Studio is also very good, but more affordable.

If you're looking for free or real cheap, Anvil works well. It's a little buggy with display, but pretty easy to use.

I'm sure the other musicians here have their favorites.

over it's not bad, it's really really choppy when you import into gp, try writing something in gp first. Of course, all the music I write for my game are songs I write in the RW, just done midi format. =)

im currently using a proggy simply calles "midi maker" it hasnt got that much features, but its easy-handable an cheap...
