My Rpg Music UPDATED AGAIN!!

Awesome music. Couldn't tell that you don't know how to read music, because you sure can compose it! You should definitely pursue this more, even if it is as a hobby.

Can I contract you to make music for my games in the future? :biggrin:

I approve this thread! Great music. Its nice to hear that there are people out there with the conviction to share their musical gifts. Thanks!

Hey there fellow composer! I'm particularly interested in how long you've been composing? Your stuff is harmonically pretty solid! I have problems with getting the high notes sound as smooth as you can make them sound, myself. Any advice you could give about this to a beginner? Is it just about the volume and harmony, or do you use some filters?

Hey guys!! Sorry for the late response. Work work >.> but thanks again for all the good comments :D

@Daven
thanks man :) and yeah the Mana series are amazing games! Also, some of my songs are inspired by The Mana series :)
Thats really good stuff!

@Citizen86
Yeah ill prolly never learn to read music :P Ill just keep on composing on my hearing and make many more songs :) especially with all the good comments.
It really gives me a boost to make even better songs. And lol if u make a new Tales of Game for the Wii ill be happy to contract XD hahaha

@Gubid
Thanks!! If it makes people happy ill be happy to share my songs :)

@Rei
Hey there! My first composition was about 5~6 years ago. :P eventually stopped composing after 2 years but got started again 2 years ago :)
About the high notes and stuff. Can u point out what songs and what piece?
But for example: the high notes of a violin could be a pain in the ear :P so i slightly decrease the volume and add a reverb filter to smoothen the sound more.
Im not using the reverb effect all the time tho. Only when its needed imo.

About the harmony. Yeah most of it is the harmony and the use of notes. Also known as a chord. In most songs u think u hear for example 1 violin as
a background sound but its 2. :P That makes it more harmonic like u said :) And so on. Play with chords and instruments.

And last about the instruments. U might have a good piece of music but with bad or low quality instruments u cant get it as powerful as u want it so
i suggest SF (soundfonts) and a program that can import them. Google it and u can download a lot of good quality sounds. Piano, Harp, Violin, Oboe Guitar etc... :)
I use FL studio 7 and use edirol orcheastra and soundfonts most of the time.

EDIT: Added 4 new songs!
Kate Theme, Pierce your Enemy, Prairie Field and Village Theme

Thanks man. And yeah Strings + Strings + Violin = Epic XD
I use FL studio 7 and Edirol Orchestral plug in and Soundfonts.
U can just google soundfonts and end up on a site with good quality sounds. Piano, Flute, Violin, Harp etc the whole Orchestra Stuff. Its free and downloadable too :)
But not all programs support Soundfont files. FL studio does :D

Latersss~!

EDIT: Added new song "You will always be in our Hearts" soooo epic...!
The song is finally finished! :)

Kate's theme reminds me of Sayaka's Theme from Madoka Magica o:
Well i never heard of Madoka Magica before o.o But i looked the song up and imo the beginning slightly sounds similar but
the further the song goes the more different it is from Kate Theme :P but yeah Sayaka's Theme sounds really beautiful

Nocturnus is very nice. It has a very epic travel sound to it. Kinda like a march to the death type feel.
Thanks again. That was my first intention to give it an epic sound to it :)

- Added new song Mysterious Forest! Check it out :D

I thought I would mention. I have listened to all your works but I think I like "The legend begins" the most. I think I do because it reminds me so much of Final Fantasy Tactics. Maybe its just the instruments.

As a side note, I noticed that when I play that same song in media player it comes up as a Kevin MacLeod song from incompetech.com. Although, I cannot find the song on his site. Did you base yours on something he did?

Hey there and thanks tho. And lol its weird that when u play the song that that kevin person
Pops up.i never heard any tracks of him o.o and when i play the song in media player or itunes nothing comes up.

And my inspiration was from legend of mana intro theme :)

I dunno, maybe it was because that was the music I was listening too prior to playing yours. No worries though. Cant wait for your next one.

A next song is coming soon too :D its in progress... Ill try to keep this thread alive so i can
Inspire other musicians too :D

Its been amazing and thanks for all great the comments so far :)

I like the new songs. Good work.

Something about the 'Another Victory' kind of reminds me of Terranigma music. I think its the deep orchestra with the harp to be honest, but yeah. Anyway...

Thanks again!

Terranigma? Never heard of that game before :P I looked it up and it reminded of chrono trigger somehow. But yeah. Orchestra stuff is always epic but i still
need a lot learn though :D
