Holy crapamoli-o's!
Those gnarly trees are AWESOME. Very whimsical.
You have a very different and refreshing art style, but I can't help but feel like I need some bright colors, too. Such a number of low-contrast colors can make a game feel a little bleak, but with some colorful spice, like flowers with a burst of high saturation, you can almost effortlessly create pockets of tranquility or ... "special-ness", that the player will remember fondly.
Also, the characters pictured within the screens have a little too low contrast to go with the art style, but that's an easy fix.
