This is the result of an entry exam for the best type of school you can visit  (it had less exams but they are more intense and harder)
These are the results: (In switzerland the mark 6 is the highest you can get, 1 is the lowest)
Math: 6
French: 5.5
German: 3.75

There is some sort of intersection between the marks you get in this exam and the ones you got in school if the intersection is 4.25 you pass - I had 4.974 or some shit. (my marks in school sucked, I wasted all my time on this forum :D)

How the FUCK can anyone fail RE :|

anyway

since this is a results thread, and since A-level results are actually important:

C - History (Napoleonic warfare/Irish politics/WW1/Russian propaganda/Changing nature of warfare)
C - Maths (Calculus, statistics, decision)
D - Single ICT
E - Double ICT

260 UCAS points in total, needed 240.

man I just failed a test (one hour ago) so don't pull this shit on me 'kay? :blank:
no srsly.. it's a small one though.. gotta retake it some time next year.

btw it was statistics, but not the normal version on paper where you can do logical shit
noooo it was with this stupid program called SPSS and we had to calculate stuff
but there were so many options you could choose from.. and in the end..
in the end.. I was only 0.6 points short on a scale of 1-10.. otherwise I would've passed the entire course.

luckily I only have to redo the test and not the whole course.

So uhh now I'm visiting this new school and I found out some girl I last met 5 years ago goes there too o.O
When I saw her I was like OH SHIT ITS HER. But she didn't even know me. I was like next to her but she didn't remember about me.

;-;

That's what I thought. LegacyX, you are clearly a bad bad man. C- for you.

It was always possible to pass even when you didn't take the test seriously - although one of my friends did get put in detention after they wrote for one answer "I poke badgers with spoons". I don't know why.

those grades suck but theyre good enough to pass....You better have alot of extra curricular activities and by extra i mean Leader of them all. My gcse results were a bit better but i only took subjects i knew i could pass, didnt bother with religious studies because i think i got like a 34 in the exams..didnt see the point in wasting the money for another f.

um is c good where you are because in america those grades would be deplorable

C is "ok" and A is absolutely exceptional - even so, those were the highest grades in my school (public school, such is the way) and the big thing is it's four subjects. If it was two subjects like most (all) people in my school did then a C, D or E would be bad, but four subjects averages it out. Doing ok in four is akin to doing really well in two or three.

Lol, really?

I'm about 7 years late but my GCSE's are A A A A B B B B B B B. :toot:  :toot:

As for a C, it is considered the minimum start for a decent profession, for example, if you wan't be to be a teacher you need Maths English Science all C and above. You also need subsequent A levels and a degree. So it's retarded you can go through uni at like 22 years old and your teaching job still can come back to how well you did pythagoras thereom in at 15y/o.

Of course A-levels are important, you need them for Uni

Unless you don't go to Uni but like I'm talking from the perspective of someone who wants to take a three year gap from menial labour

Also, the news in this country every year is bent, they just watch streams of people opening results like I GOT 16 A-STARS! If one kid said oh I got 11 A's and 1 B people would be like oohhh thicko kid, fast track him to special school.

At GCSE I got A* AAA BB B/2

We were only allowed to take six and a half subjects and there's people on the TV who did SIXTEEN or more

Yeah but from my experience Uni isnt even important, so that would make A levels unimportant too. I think they make this clearing thing a load of bullanyway. People joined my uni course like 1 week before it started.

Please hope you have chosen a subject where you come out and you have a tangible skill and not just academic theory. Good for drinking and dorm room love though.
