My "formal" intro

Hello,

I've been lurking here since a while now so I guess its only fair that I introduce my self since I might start to post more

I'm Gen aka Ashtoreth, I'm 26 (old I know), I'm a French Canadian from Montreal, so my English might suck, but I think I can manage well enough. I work full time in a video game business (no, it's not as much fun as it sounds, trust me)

I draw a lot, and I'm currently learning pixelart for my games (personal projects I have with other programmers and composers) I don't program at all, so I though I would use rpgmaker to test the graphics and story flow of our rpg project, but eventually it should use our own engine once I have enough graphs to feed the programmers hehehe

So here I am, mostly here to learn and sponge up as much informations as I can about pixel art in general I will also post some wip and hope to have some critics!!!

It's kind of cool that you work in videogames, what exactly is it that you do?

Also 26 isn't that old, I'll be 22 in around two weeks and there are plenty of people here older than that.

Officially, I'm an Analyst, but since its a small business in numbers I get to do designs and art, this is the fun part hehe

Before that I worked as a QA at Ubisoft and Gameloft which I hated -_-;

You worked for Gameloft? Nice! Pretty much all the games on my cell-phone are made by them.

sonata - yea, and I hated it too, hours were dreadful and the producers were evil, i heard it changed though , still I wouldn't recommend it hehe
