My first Map

This is my first map I made for my game, please give me your comments, criticism or feedback.

It makes me want to explore the realm.

Although the crazy tutorial ~R~ pointed out does look sweet, the simple cartoony feel can be nice too, and I don't think you can spend a million hours on every aspect of your game.

The only thing I'd change is to see if you could blend the colours into one another a bit. I dunno, maybe that's difficult with the program you're using.

Is there gonna be more text on the map?

oh yea I plan to put text to show the main map locations. I am using CC2

i think the rivers are a little bit too linear.

Use the color burn tool and a dark brown color along the edges of your map with a marque selected of the outline. That should give it some flavour
