My First Good Midi Song (IMO) Please Tell me what you think

to tell you the trueth it was SUPPOSED to be a mid file of the Ultimate Being's song when you fight her at the end of Parasite Eve. Since no one would make one I tried. Well it did not come out as planed but I think it still sounds good, and it doesnt really sound like that song so I guess I coudl call it my own right? not sure what the rules are on that there... Anyway, please tell me if this mid is goood. or bad. thanks! I know I messed up in spots but its hard to align notes in FL Studio correctly... I'll fix them later if I can.

There was pretty much no variation whatsoever, which made it very repetitive. (not a good thing) Also, I wish you wouldn't stick to just two sounds, it's just so easy to get sick of them.

Wow.

That almost killed my ears - the repetitiveness was enough, but the buzzing sounds are just really irritating. It's not a bad tune otherwise - the buzzing sounds just really make it hard for me to listen to it.

ah, thanks for the replies, yeah im more used to making ambeint music then catchy ones. so far this is what my catchy music has turned out to be... just repetitve and sometimes annoying/boring to people... well i still try. maby soon ill get better.

Start out simple, then work your way to bigger, more complex arrangements. It's the best way to learn, even though at first the song might not feel like a 'song', once you carefully put the instruments together, it'll be much more enjoyable to listen to.
