My First(Basicly) Attempt at spriting (MSPaint)

Okay, This is my first attempt at spriting because i just got bored and I need a character for my game "...Z..." How do you guys think it is coming along?

It's a solis start, although the body isn't much but recolored skin. Try rounding out the bottom of the shirt and pants- check out the Pixel Academy subforum for some tutorials and reference.

The hair also looks...plastic? The form is a bit unnatural and the shading doesn't follow the shape properly.

Still- it's a pretty decent attempt for your first time. I'd suggest using some more good references rather than just winging it.

Yeah the hair does look weird. But the shirt is suppose to look like that (Have you ever seen those spandex shirt thingys?)

Here is an edit..The only things that i'm not liking are the shoes in the walking frames and the hair..

Firstly, don't triple post. Secondly, this is the wrong section, this is a character set, thus a resource, and you're looking to get criticism of it.

It's looking good for a first try, though.

I wouldn't use that template to start spriting on. Start with something small like the breeze or the Tyke.

Um..I thought that an update isnt a count as a triple/double post, sorry anyway..and i saved it as a Bmp file..

EDIT: How do you like my banner i was making..I get bored and try to sprite...one of my friends said it was really good with MSPaint..I did it all from scratch
