o.o where to begin...
he has no waist line, his legs look like pants made of skin, it's at 3/4 view, not side view as you intend it to be, and it breaks several laws of perspective, most infractions occurring in the abdominal region.. It has a little bit of that "Frankenstein's monster" thing going.. it's body parts feel like they are pieces and parts of other objects and don't tie together as a whole. The sad thing is i can really tell you actually put some effort into this and it's unfair that it looks so .. wonky.
A word of advice, it's a template, meaning that eventually people are just going to cover it up anyways. Don't get hung up on rendering muscle structures until u have a relatively functional animating outline. Get hung up on detail work as an after-thought.
Try to pull it together a little bit, and if you really want to keep the work you have here, make it 8 directional and call this one of the quarter views. It certainly isn't a side view.
The simplest tips i can give u right now is a.) Give him more of a waist line, that'll make it look significanl;y less awkward, and b.) redo the hands and legs, they need some lovin.
