My characters have backgrounds

If this is the wrong place for this, I'm sorry. I'm new here.

Anyway, I got some character sets and battlers, but they have colored backgrounds. How do I get rid of them?

Make sure you're importing the graphic using rpg maker and not just copying the files directly into the directory. If you do it this way a box will pop up displaying the graphic. Left clicking a pixel will make all pixels of the same colour transparent in game.
