My Brute?

There's something addictive about this weird thing. I think it may be the senseless carnage that unfolds when they fight it out.

Anyone care to give it a go?

Though it's not so much a game, all you really control is who you fight and the rest is randomized (your stats, the gear and skills you get, etc.)

But aside from that, it isn't too bad! All you need to do is give it a name and see what happens. (It's one of those games that you get experience for people you refer to it, but they call it 'pupils'.)

You can make as many as you want until you get something you like, no need for e-mails or anything of that sort either which is a nice change.

To my knowledge it is new for the English fellow like ourselves!

It is a French game (I believe) and they've recently finished getting it translated.

My only complaint is the lack of turns you get each day. :boo:

It kind of reminds of those facebook games, and I'm pretty sure thats where they got the idea from, especially seeing that you can only have a certain number of turns per day.

It reminds me of Kings of Chaos and Outwar. Really, there's literally thousands of games like this. Another one that comes to mind is Kingdom of Loathing.

Indeed!

Games like this are quite common.

But I think it's the rather smooth flash animation and enjoyable visuals are got me unwillingly hooked.

Reminds me of a comic I read, 'The most powerful gaming systems in the world still can't match the addictiveness of tiny in-browser flash games.'

Probably have some sort of voodoo curse on these sorts of games that draw people in.

I don't understand why sometimes a lv2-3brute has like 2 pets and 3 weapons, or insane amounts of some of the 3 stats...

It's either completely random, or has to do with your character's name. If you notice, while you're typing in a name, your guy is constantly changing appearance. I would assume that weapons and stuff do the same thing.
