Haha, love 'em axe murderers. But furthermore I'm not too impressed. Try shading for example. Regardless of the quality, it's good to see people make their own battlers. I for example, am too lazy.

Well, I'm impressed... I will have to learn to shade, because I really have no technik down for that. Maybe there's a tutorial somewhere?

One thing I would suggest is to also redraw the backgrounds to match.

I wrote a few tutorials a long time ago that may help with shading:

But you can also probably find more by doing a google search. What you should look into is Celshading, rather than full shading.

BTW, the backgrounds are just for show here (And if someone wants to use them, they'll have to cut them out, Bwa Ha Ha Ha. I will eventually release these in a usable form, but only once I'm done with them.)
