All you did for the titlescreen was take a picture and add some text. You don't have to do a lot obviously but you could try doing somethign to the text so it's not just plain black. What program did you use to make it?

You just added text in Microsoft Paint.
Get Paint.Net or something.
Example: [This is actually my first titlescreen so IDK if this is good or bad. LOL.]

Yeah, programs like Gimp or Paint.net (I prefer Gimp myself) are not only free but great programs for this kind of stuff. I suggest reading some tutorials to get familiar with it before trying anything.

Now Im Using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9

GIMP is hard to understand... I prefer Macromedia Fireworks, but as a free program, GIMP is the best.

The windowskin is a little dark. Try using lighter colors and adding a border along the edges. Add a linear gradient on those arrows too.

As for the titlescreen, You might want to add a white stroke to the text. Personally, I HATE Blackadder ITC, but that's just me :p

Lionel's background is quite good :smile: But in my opinion, you'd better have brighter color for the text(for example.. mm...white, may be?) Or if you're persistent with black, you can add white stroke or yellow glow. Put your main character cool pose will describe a little about your game :biggrin:

LMAO! I find that a big INSULT for the poor newb... you actually scraped up a title screen and said "Stupid, Here's how you do it,"

P.S. I took a double take - for the first time I couldn't believe it lol.

Anyway, dude you took a screenshot of the MacOSX default screensaver, and put text on it. All I can say is that... well, it's definitely some progress!

I prefer Paint. It's quick as hell and easy to use.

I prefer Adobe Photoshop CS3. I thinking about getting Fireworks though.
On subject: Well, What everyone Is saying Is true, you just need to spend some more time on it. Give it your own touch, Don't worry, you will get there soon! :biggrin:

Better then My first title XD Beautiful if you will but I do think the Knights of Luna could be placed somewhere else in the Title. :tongue: Does not look very good there
