Music: Left to Die

It's been a while since I last posted a song here. Of course, it'd help if I had any new songs to post. :

This piece is a very simple and sad piece, and it was written for a music competition. The rain and thunder were kind of an afterthought, but I added it before I "finalized" the piece. I've gotten comments about rain and thunder, but they're not positive. I suppose I should have added something else in their stead, but oh well, what are you going to do? Heh

I WISH I had Tana's pixel mastery. I'm just a newb with a sleep disorder!

Oh I wanted to mention: the lightning bolt at the veerrryy end of the song sounds a little distorted, like its volume is way higher than the song, or it doesn't have any bass ... I can't tell what exactly, but it kinda sticks out. Otherwise, very nice!

cdwolf: Go ahead and use it if you want. There are terms of use on the download page, but it basically says that you can use the music in any free game.

The song truly is beautiful and sad. The rain sounds perfect, but I'm not the biggest fan of the thunder. The thunder at the end definitely is too loud and feels a bit out of place, as Venetia already stated, but the imagery this song provokes is very nice indeed. It was actually raining quite heavily outside as I listened and the song mixed perfectly. Aside from the thunder which, in the end isn't too bad, it's a brilliant piece of work. Well done, you should be very proud!
